I never once thought I’d be SO over summer, up until now. Like, really….I am a sucker for the heat. Mix up some humidity along with high temperatures, and I’m good to go.  However, for some odd reason I’ve just grown rather fond of the idea that Fall is on it’s way. It’s like that feeling you got when you knew school was around the corner, and so you dragged your mother to the nearest Target to stock up on all those school necessities….And so for 1 month straight, you become a Lisa Frank glutton.

OR, raise your hand if your back-to-school shopping problem was so severe that you would often times just buy the ENTIRE fall rack at the mall, just in the rare chances you may or may not wear it. Looking back now, I see that I made some TERRIBLE TERRIBLE fall purchases in my day. Like….who wears a poodle skirt on their first day of school? *raises hand*.

I wish I had the mindset then that I have now…or the networks that I have now, as Vans girls hooked it up with some rad back-to-school pieces. For instance – I’m rather obsessed with this black polka-dot Cherry dress, and roomy Chambers backpack. Something I wish I had when I was too busy deciding on what shade of brown to wear as lipstick.

…currently shaking my head.

I may not be going back to school (anytime soon, that is), but that sure as hell doesn’t mean I can’t dress the part.
